As you can probably tell from reading The Evangelista, I love to share my experiences, and the lessons that Christ has taught me through them, with as many people as possible. As much as I enjoy writing, my real passion is speaking.
In addition to teaching high school theology for nine years, I've spoken at diocesan catechist conferences (AZ), parish catechist trainings (TX, DC), Bible studies (TX, VA, DC), RCIA classes (TX, VA, DC, AZ), Confirmation classes (TX, DC), the Ave Maria Youth Conference (FL), youth groups around the country (VA, AZ, TX), college Catholic centers (VA, MD, DC), women's groups (VA, MD, DC), and adult faith formation groups (TX, VA, MD, DC, AZ).
I speak on a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to the following:
Beauty and Evangelization
Developing a personal style
A Healthy approach to modesty and chastity (for women)
Cultivating a healthy body image/overcoming eating disorders
Personal growth and development
Believing in and trusting God's love
Developing a personal relationship with Christ
Reading and understanding Scripture/Praying with Scripture
-Pretty much anything related to the Catholic faith (I have a BA and MA in theology from the University of Notre Dame).
Note: While I am unabashedly Catholic, many of the above topics would be applicable to an ecumenical audience. I do ask for a small stipend and traveling fees, but they are negotiable.
